How do I find my top selling products in Shopify?
Go to Analytics, then Reports, then Sales by Product. Set your date range and sort by Net Sales descending to see your top sellers instantly.
“Your top 10 earners are telling you what your customers actually want to buy — and most boutique owners could not name all 10 accurately from memory.”
Finding your top sellers in Shopify takes about ten minutes. Navigate to Analytics, click Reports, then select Sales by Product. Set your date range to cover the period you want to analyze, such as January 1 through today, and sort the results by Net Sales from highest to lowest.
Your top ten styles on this list represent what your customers actually want to buy, and most boutique owners cannot name all ten accurately from memory. Once you have this list, ask yourself three questions for each item: Is it still in stock? Is it featured in my current ads? Is it in my upcoming emails? If any answer is no, that becomes an immediate action item.
Consider adding a product tag like 'H1-Top10' to these items in Shopify so you can pull the group instantly for collections, email campaigns, and ad creative without rebuilding the list every time.
